I spent 30 years climbing to the top of global organisations. I was good at it. I achieved everything I was told to want. 

Then, in December 2022, I realised - this isn’t it.

I didn’t leave because of burnout or I failed. I just woke up one morning and thought ‘WTF are you doing with your life?!’

My motto is to get to my deathbed and think ‘well, I gave it a good shot’ - and here i was doing everything but giving it a shot.

The one thing I have always been able to do is ‘read the room’ - any room - boardroom, business, personal - and see exactly what's happening before anyone's finished explaining it.

Call it a sixth sense - pattern recognition. Combined with my ‘dulcet’ Belfast straight talking approach - I WILL tell you what I see - not what you want to hear.

I know the cost of the performance - which means I know exactly what it's costing you.

I see the thing people can't.

And I say it out loud.
